The Essential Expereinces of Science & Epistemic Insight Webinar Series launched with great success this week. We have places still available across the series of CPD webinars (you can register here).
We are inviting thirty teachers to join us in exciting action research within their classroom, facilitating pupil and parent feedback from simple practical science investigations (Headteacher consent required and clear information will support this). Choose to take part in several ‘Essential Experiences in Science’ CPD webinar sessions and we’ll support teachers with free science equipment, printed resources sent direct to school as well as providing downloadable resources and research tools.
We have been working with schools for the last year, and this September we welcomed the first teaching of Epistemic Insight programmes for year 7 and Key Stage 3 Religious Studies Schemes of Work underpinned by Epistemic Insight. You can read the Blog from one of our research partners here.
We are currently looking for additional schools interested in co-creating multidisciplinary learning and opportunities with projects for KS3-5. We have predesigned teacher and student resources or we can work with you to make a bespoke series of lessons or curriculum linked enrichment activities for your students. We have delivered a virtual event to over 250 year 12 students on the bridging subject boundaries and understanding their curriculum as well as working with teacher to emed EI into RE lessson and discrete programmes of study.
