Today I am excited to be developing workshops exploring how science works with other disciplines to address complex, real-world problems like coronavirus and climate change. I am designing learning that helps students unpack further questions buried within these challenging issues and helps students see how taking a multidisciplinary approach can transform our thinking. I am particularly interested in the ‘Big Questions’ about the nature and value of human personhood that spring up as we go. Adapting to the challenges of doing this nuanced work remotely is also never far from my mind!
